QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED Texas Driver's License with less than three (3) moving traffic violations within the past three (3) years. SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Demonstrate working knowledge of various aspects of painting and related repairs, including different types of working media and appropriate use thereof Knowledge of the use and care of appropriate equipment Ability to prioritize and organize work orders and scheduling to facilitate that such alterations and repairs are with safety and expedience not to obstruct a minimum of district activities. EXPERIENCE: Working knowledge of painting and associated skills, with hands on experience for a minimum of five (5) years MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Maintain, repair, and/or replace all internal and external parts of district facilities which are related to painting Assist other departments with painting needs related to equipment/projects. Assume responsibility for the proper maintenance and operation of all assigned vehicles, equipment and tools. Maintain sufficient inventory of needed supplies and equipment. Maintain materials records per facility. Supervision of all paint related equipment Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervision of all painters.
